He contributed over a number of years to the Center's work in control of nuclear proliferation and cyber security. He was a collaborating author of many Center reports and publications, including the book The Transnational Dimension of Cyber Crime and Terrorism, done jointly with the Hoover Institution, and Security in a World with Expanding Nuclear Power. David served in senior positions in the government and the security research industry.

Center to Support Excellence in Teaching. Susan Million. Clinical Associate, math education, project manager- Instructional Leadership in SFUSD, and assistant project manager- PRACTISE Science Project. Ms. Million's work focuses on creating a continuum of support for math teachers, developing instructional leadership in SFUSD, and assisting with research projects.
A focus of her work involves mentoring new math teachers for the Woodrow Wilson Fellows and Hollyhock Fellows. In addition to mentoring new math teachers, Ms. Million works with the administration of SFUSD to develop an instructional framework for classroom discussion and argumentation.
She also works on a research project to develop argumentation and explanation in the elementary science classroom. Her background includes teaching secondary mathematics, working as a school and district administrator, and serving on the State Board of Education for the California Mathematics Project Advisory Board.
She holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Mathematics) from Stanford University.
